Cards on the table – our festival relies on the help of volunteers to make the event a roaring success. What do we need? Good folks like you to commit to a three-hour shift. What do you get? A shirt and a ticket to the 2026 festival and the feel-good knowledge that you’ve helped our stellar festival shine. #winning

AREAS TO VOLUNTEER

Little Chillers Area – Glue guns at the ready! Do you have your Working with Children Check (WWCC) and a not-so-secret passion for arts and crafts? The Little Chillers area is calling your name.

Ground Crew – Ground Control to Major Tom! Calling all runners and ticketing crews – we have a range of activities that need fast hands and feet, from scanning tickets to running across the field. (FYI – you don’t have to be called Tom, all names welcome).

Build Out Crew – DIY heroes, can you hear us?! If you can swing a hammer, drive in a star picket, deliver dreams with a drill or are simply an all-round tinkerer, come lend us a hand.

Creative – Artists, we need your vision! This year we’re creating some awesome, hand-painted signage and art installations in the lead up to the big day. Come join us – this is your time to shine.

Sustainability Monitor – Help the Big Chill Festival reach its goals to be a zero-waste festival.
